However, Open House Limerick's most ambitious project is commissioning a new Pavilion for the people of Limerick. The organization has invited architects to submit expressions of interest through an open-call process. The aim is to create a structure that will be an icon for Limerick and that will serve the needs of its citizens. Open House Limerick organizes an architectural weekend every year that provides the public with an opportunity to visit exceptional buildings and spaces, and meet the people who design them.
